Thinking Outside The Box…

Choosing the perfect wedding venue is one of the most important parts of your day, but if you don’t fancy the traditional church or hotel wedding why not have a look at some of the alternative venues you can get married in across the UK.

London Zoo
Where could be more unique than a wedding at London Zoo. You and your guests could enjoy a dinner reception in a number of the zoos beautiful venues and party long after the zoo has closed.

Ok I know what you’re thinking but hear me out, if it was a case of merely getting married in a beautiful venue then you could choose numerous other traditional places but the zoo offers something that isn’t on offer anywhere else, a chance to get up close and personal with some of the zoo’s furry and friendly inhabitants.

For a 25 minute session wedding parties can get up close and personal with an owl, learn all about llamas, meet the meerkats or my personal favourite (and perfect for a Christmas wedding) meet the zoo’s reindeers. It would certainly be an experience of a lifetime.

And if that’s not enough, all the proceeds from your wedding at London Zoo will go towards helping the animals.

The London Eye

Afraid of heights?

No!

Excellent! Ever considered getting married on the London Eye?

For a truly memorable wedding couples can exchange their vows in their own private capsule at the top of the wheel, 135 metres above London. With spectacular views over London your wedding photographs would certainly be one of a kind.

After the vows why not take another spin in the wheel and celebrate with family and friends as you are served champagne and canapés.

Ok so you may have to trim the guest list somewhat and forego some of the grander details but with the option to have a reception on the ground after the ceremony, marrying on the London eye could be the perfect way to exchange your vows.
