luxury wedding santorini

Even with only four months to plan a sensational three-day wedding in Santorini, it was a completely enjoyable process planning it for the wonderful Hanan & Anwar. With no knowledge of the island, the couple needed us to help them source a venue for the wedding and organise a fun-packed three days before the big day for their guests.

The welcome dinner took place at a fantastic beach bar. What was meant to have been a relaxed pre-wedding meal, turned into a full blown party into the early hours! It definitely was a warm up for the wedding day.

We also organised a private boat to cruise the couple and their guests around the island, complete with party and BBQ on deck. Good food, sun, sea, and great company was bliss.

Finally, the wedding took place at one of the most beautiful venues on the island, sitting right on the edge of the cliff. It was also one of the larger venues in Santorini to seat up to 100 guests.  The photographer on the day was Ashley Johnson and here are some of his fantastic images:

wedding on greek island

Santorini is one of the most beautiful, luxurious and unique islands of Greece and is the home of Greece’s last active volcano! Santorini is a large crescent-shaped island enclosing a vast bay, the largest caldera on earth! Fira, Oia, Imerovigli are just some of the villages that are built into the cliffs with magnificent view of the Aegean sea, the volcano and the nearby islands of Ios, Folegandros and Sikinos.

Hanan and Anwar chose a coral, pastel pink and ivory colour palette but they knew the scenery would speak for itself.

For when the sun went down the aim was to have romantic candlelight all over the venue. It was an amazing three days and it could not have been a better wedding because of the kind hearted, fun, down-to-earth couple and their guests.
