If the busy city is not for you why not venture about 45 minutes from London and consider the beautiful Coworth Park. Part of The Dorchester Collection this 70 bedroom hotel is set in around 240 acres of beautiful Royal Berkshire parkland and is the perfect location to spend several days for you and your guests to celebrate your wedding.

When driving through Coworth Park to reach reception you really get to take in the wonderful space Coworth Park has to offer which is full of beautiful flowers and fields. For those who really love the idea of a luxury country style wedding this venue could be for you.

One of the most interesting features of Coworth Park is the Grade 2 listed Dower House built in 1775 and renovated into a private residence on site.  For couples looking to host a small wedding Dower House is the perfect setting with a secluded garden overlooking the lake; home to the hotel’s family of swans.

For larger weddings Coworth Park can accommodate guest of up to 250 in a variety of spaces. You could choose to get married in three stunning suites in the mansion house and for six months of the year can opt to wed in a marquee in the grounds perfect for an outdoor wedding and a favourite here at White Avenue.

If a marquee wedding isn’t your cup of tea, The Oval Room may be the perfect room for your wedding which benefits from natural daylight and has its own private terrace which extends out to the garden beyond. The design is contemporary based on contours and colours from the surrounding landscape whilst a porcelain chandelier completes the room. There is capacity for up to 90 people for a sit-down dinner or 120 for a cocktail reception.

Similar in style, The Garden room is located on the lower ground floor and also enjoys natural daylight. It too has its own private patio with a stone staircase leading to the terraced gardens. With its soft-gold palette and chandelier inspired by a dandelion flower the Garden Room is a charming and relaxing space. This room can hold up to 90 people for a sit down dinner.

For an intimate wedding party The Oak Room is a lovely space for up to 30 people. Situated on the ground floor it is classical in design with Georgian skirting and cornicing, whilst a pair of hanging sculptures of copper oak leaves add a striking touch.

Beyond The Mansion House there is a further private event room, The Tower House located next to the stables and Barn restaurant. With its own small balcony The Tower House has fabulous views overlooking the lake and stream and can hold up to 30 for a sit-down dinner or 50 for a cocktail reception.

Of course, at Coworth Park you are not restricted to one room, you can create a bespoke wedding using as many rooms as you like.

For us, Coworth Park is an excellent setting for a weekend break, a country escape or a stunning country wedding. Guests can get around by golf buggies, enjoy the stunning scenery surrounding the hotel, take a stroll through the stunning Lime Grove or stop to pose for photographs in Coworth Park’s beautiful sunken gardens, a truly stunning background to your special day.

Guests can also enjoy the many amenities that Coworth Park have to offer including an equestrian centre, two polo fields and a number of restaurants and if that’s not enough  why not relax and unwind in the Hotels eco-luxury spa.
